Jackie Rawles

Jackie Rawles joined Anglicare NT in April 2024 as Director Partnership Support Service. Jackie returned to Darwin after working in Alice Springs for 3 years with the Native Title Holders of Alice Springs at Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation, negotiating Indigenous Land Use Agreements ensuring preservation of cultural and natural heritage, whilst enabling economic development of the Traditional land and waters of the Central Arrernte people. Jackie spent much of her first 40 years living in East Arnhem, developing long-lasting friendships and deep relationships that shaped her personal development and career choice as an anthropologist, sociologist and educator.

Throughout her career, Jackie has been a consultant and held senior roles in the Northern Territory and federal government, the private sector, defence, research institutes, Indigenous land management corporations, resource centres and major land councils contributing to reforms in governance, heritage protection, economic and workforce development, (social) policy and legislation.

Jackie is excited to be applying her background knowledge and skillset to making a meaningful contribution at Anglicare NT through the Partnership Support Service.
