$24 million housing infrastructure for Katherine is seriously good news!

Craig was on ABC News talking about how dire the housing situation is in the region. Anglicare NT is involved in three housing and homelessness support programs in Katherine, including short-stay accommodation which can’t keep up with demand.  

“We can have 100 people from families and 70 young people at any one time seeking safe and affordable housing” he said.  

“The region has been calling for a number of years for investment into short stay accommodation. So when people come to town or there is overcrowding there is somewhere safe to go”.
