Darwin GleNTi Thanks

Anglicare NT were thrilled be selected as the charity partner of this years Darwin GleNTi event. Together with the Greek community, GleNTi organisers and Anglicare NT staff and volunteers, an incredible $31,000 was raised in pledges and donations! These funds will support homeless and disadvantage children and youth across the Territory.

The Darwin GleNTi is a wonderful celebration of cultural diversity, family and tradition, and is the biggest of its kind in Australia. Across the weekend, Anglicare NT had twenty volunteers shake buckets, share information and represent the agency in front of a big crowd. We had many visitors to our stall including Chief Minister Michael Gunner, Minister Lauren Moss, Member for Solomon Luke Gosling, and even Darwin’s favourite popstar Jessica Mauboy!

Anglicare NT are honoured and humbled by the generosity of the Greek community and all those who attended over the two days – thank you!
