#U-Turn

#U-Turn provides young people with alternatives to detention and pathways out of the justice system. The program is part of the Territory Families Back on Track initiative, supporting young people aged between 8 and 17 years of age.

#U-Turn delivers elements of the Back on Track initiative through:

• restorative justice, victim offender conferencing and community service
• developing connection through cultural activities and meetings with community elders
• life skills training on food security, health, hygiene and accommodation

By focusing on both the individual and their family, we ensure young people are given the tools and support they need to take them into a happy and successful adulthood. The approach builds on Anglicare NT’s commitment to working in innovative ways with young people and their families.
